Growing honor

In my life long pursuit love and happiness I have always felt that I was honest , I will admit in my younger days I wasn’t always honorable but I was honest and for a long time I thought that was enough, as I grew older I realized that it wasn’t. As I grew older I saw first hand that honesty with no honor only lead to pain for one or both people in the relationship, coming to this conclusion I had a hard choice to make, do I continue on in a behavior that I knew was detrimental to what I really wanted from a woman or, do I remain the same given the information that I have just because this way of acting was familiar. RED PILL…BLUE PILL.
I won’t lie and say it was a over night decision in fact it took more than a year for me to fully understand the dept of what I was getting into , but I finally did and I was willing to under go a time in my life I call “the change” . Being young at the time ( the ripe ol age of 20) I thought that just the decision to be a man of Honor was enough and I would just learn as I go as I have done all my life , not knowing that I was would be trained in the ways of honor to the point that, would make returning to my former ways impossible .
Over the next 4 years the Lord helped me understand my weaknesses and fears and lead me through them one by one , not to show where I when wrong but to help me understand that each mistake that I had made was more than just a failure, it was and opportunity for growth. By me not facing these areas I did not let myself grow .
Looking back now I see how far GOD has brought me and know now that I can be a man good enough to love the woman that was meant to love , strong enough to raise our children ,and wise enough to know the difference .I still have flaws and fears , but now knowing that I am honor bound , to me makes it easier for me to live a good and decent life . The word Honor means
“ Personal integrity: strong moral character and strength, and adherence to ethical principles ,respect, dignity and distinction”
I will live up to these principals as I go out in to my life
